At 14,411 feet, Mount Rainier rises far above the surrounding peaks of the Cascade Range. Glaciers drape the highest slopes while flower-strewn meadows ring the surrounding forests. There is a treasure trove of wonderful photographic subjects all around you at Mt Rainier National Park. This workshop is not about how to use your equipment, it is about the composition and the design in Nature photography. Gavriel’s goal is to change the way you see and to make sure you understand the essence of design in Nature Photography. There will be informative lectures, image critiques and in-field lessons.
With a backdrop like the Teton Range it is virtually impossible to take a bad photograph. Couple the breathtaking beauty with expert instruction, you will not only take away stunning imagery, but knowledge and stories that you will enjoy for a lifetime. We strive to bring each of our participants to an elevated level of photography, no matter what your skill level currently is.
The West Coast of Vancouver Island is one of my favourite places on earth, & rather than telling you, I'd love to show you. With temperate rainforest, long coastlines and abundant wildlife at our doorstep, the shooting opportunities are endless, but also challenging. I've just added this action packed trip, & it's limited to only 5 people! Prepare for long days, with lots of shooting, instruction, editing & critiquing throughout. Expanding your photographic vision & helping you master your images in Lightroom will be my goal.
